  • WELCOME!

Hola peeps! Welcome to Casa de Lewis. We are twenty somethings who got married in 2010, bought a house in 2011, and are now trying to get it all together in 2012! We both started our careers as CPAs and now Reagan works for the Boys & Girls Club and I have my own photography business. I blog about crafts, photography, DIY projects, sweet treats, random life tidbits, and things I love! The design and migration from Blogger is still in the works, so thanks for being patient! And thanks for stopping by! Snoop around, why dontcha :)

Nursery Mobile // DIY Branch with 3D Stars

This was actually a really easy project. After I decided to use this quote in the nursery, I thought it would be cool to have some type of star art hanging next to it!

I actually had this mint colored paper already, so I sat down and, of course, googled how to make a paper star. No joke people, this is the video that I used to learn how to make them!

Rock on The James Garner  :)

So I sat down and made different sizes of stars! Once you make one you’ll get the process down. And I did make a little guide like the video suggests to make the process even quicker!

Next up, I needed a branch! One evening Reagan and I took Milo on a walk and what did we stumble upon?! The perfect branch! Reagan drilled a screw into the branch and directly into the wall on both ends of the branch.

I used yellow bakers twine and tape to attach the stars to the branch at varying heights.

Boom. 3D star art!
