Part One | Part Two | Part Three
It’s finally here! The before and after….

We are really happy with how everything turned out! The table and chairs are both from World Market. We just happened to get both crazy on sale. We’ve had the table for awhile but these chairs were just recently 50% off so we snagged basically the last two in San Antonio at the store!

I love the finish on them.
I also love the look of the table top…

My mom sewed these awesome cushions! I picked up some foam from Joann’s and we actually used drapes that I decided I didn’t like to make the cushions. They have snaps on the underside so that I can easily take them off to wash them! GO MOM!

I picked up this awesome floral arrangement from Whole Foods. Isn’t the vase so cool?!

We still love and use our big Pottery Barn Benchwright table a lot when guests are over, but it is really convenient for Reagan and I to have this little spot to eat meals together, just the two of us.

And soon it will be the three of us! :)

waiting for a baby instagram…
Jody@homey home design - I love it! It’s beautiful. I love all the details, and the wall boards. Colors are perfect too. We did banquette seating in our dining area too, it is a great use of space.
Meghan - I LOVE it! I’ve been wanting to do a banquette in my breakfast nook for awhile. Would you mind giving a rough cost to context yours and your measurements? Yours looks like about the same size area we are working with, but I am just curious.
Teresa - Ah-maz-ing! It is perfect.
Christine jay - Sada-it looks amazing! It looks like something from a magazine!!!! Kudos to yall on a job well done!!
Paula - Wow, it looks beautiful!
Katie - Looks absolutely amazing! Fabulous job!
Erin - Really beautiful! I’ve been waiting to add a banquet to my dining area to better use space. Do you share the height and dimensions of the banquet in the blog anywhere? I would ideally love to build one with a hinged seat top for storage inside but, that may be too ambitious. I like the baskets you added, maybe that’s an easier and more useful option…
Thanks for posting, inspires action on my part.

Krissy - I have been looking for great banquette ideas and just included yours in a round-up on my blog: http://hotcommodityhome.blog.com/2013/04/15/diy-banquette-seating/
I especially love how finished it looks with the beadboard on the wall and even though you used the decorative metal to allow for your vent, I love it just as added interest. Thanks for sharing!
