Casa de Lewis bio picture

Hola peeps! Welcome to Casa de Lewis. We are twenty somethings who got married in 2010, bought a house in 2011, and had a sweet baby girl in 2012! We both started our careers as CPAs and now Reagan works in finance and I have my own photography business. I blog about my baby girl (obviously), products we love, crafts, photography, DIY projects, sweet treats, random life tidbits, and the balance of being a mom and business owner! Our house is always a work in progress but we love working on it and making it our own. Thanks for stopping by!

Pinspiration! // DIY Navy, Teal & Coral Necklace

Y’all…something cray-zay happened.

I found this necklace on Pinterest by Laura Parke and thought it was fab, so naturally I pinned it. I already had the paint supplies and since I’m on a necklace kick, I picked up the cording and the wooden beads on my last trip to Michael’s. Can we talk about how easy this project is?! It took me maybe 20 minutes!

I basically followed Laura’s tutorial, just switched up a couple of things. First, I used this cording instead of an actual necklace chain.

I also used painters tape, because I’m a dork and I didn’t think I could paint straight lines! And I obviously switched the colors. I am totally digging navy, teal, and coral these days!

New necklace in less than a half hour?! Amen!

Maira - I got inspired by your post! I tried posting a picture, since I did a different spin on them but no such luck :(. Basically I got lazy and just painted the whole little ball one color and then alternated between a gold one and two orange ones until the length I wanted. Thanks for the post!
