Do you remember the frame I made to hold my Christmas cards? I switched it up to show how it can also be used as an accessory organizer and shared the full tutorial on how I made the frame over on the website Brit + Co. a couple weeks ago.
I found the frame for $10 at an antique store and was looking for a unique way to incorporate it into my home. To get started, here is what you will need:
If you don’t already have a staple gun and wire cutters on hand, I recommend adding them to your must have tools. You’ll find that you will end up using them on many of your other DIY adventures!
I found this great old window frame at an antique store, but you can use any type of empty frame. You could even paint it a fun color or distress it to give it some character. I picked up a 2’ x 5’ piece of chicken wire (also called poultry fence) at Home Depot on my way home.
I laid my frame down and lined up the chicken wire to the back of the frame. I then trimmed the chicken wire to line up with the back of the frame.
After the chicken wire was trimmed to size, I just took my staple gun and started stapling away!
And that’s it!
A quick and easy project to hold all of your jewelry and accessories!
